Why should I use the service?
Remediating PDF documents for accessibility is a highly technical, time-consuming process that requires in-depth knowledge of tag structure types and accessibility standards. Allyant Remediation Services can remediate your PDF files and return fully accessible and compliant documents. This service is ideal for professional documents intended for campus-wide circulation or public consumption. Additionally, this service can remediate documents with complex content such as tables, infographics, and form elements.
What is the turnaround time?
Turn-around time depends on the size and complexity of a document. Average turnaround is 3-5 business days with rush turn-around in 2 business days. Allyant provides a delivery date with a quote upon initial outreach, and can often deliver sooner than projected.
How much does the service cost?
This is a project-based service billable to the requesting unit. The service typically costs $5 to $8 per page. Documents with complex content and PDF forms may cost more. Rush projects will incur a rush fee of 50% of the price quoted per page.
How do I access the service?
Step 1: Email your document file to remediation@allyant.com.
Step 2: Allyant will quickly respond with a quote for an accessible document meeting full WCAG 2.1 AA, HHS, PDF/UA, or Section 508 compliance.
Step 3: Once you accept the quote, Allyant performs the job and returns the accessible document to you, along with the invoice for payment. All documents will also be accompanied by an accessibility compliance report.
Step 4: Process the invoice for payment.
